Ethernet de velocidad limitada

¿Alguien realmente tiene cerca de 100 Mbits / s cuando ya sea copia o transmisión a la máquina de LG? Me parece que puedo conseguir sobre 30MBit / s cuando se copian archivos, pero sólo alrededor de 20Mbit / s cuando se transmite.

Alguien me sugirió una vez que, aunque la máquina es 100 Mbits / s, en realidad asigna diferentes cantidades de este a diversas funciones (copiar, streaming, Youtube, Picassa, etc) de modo que siempre hay ancho de banda disponible para todo, pero nada consigue el 100 . ¿Hay alguna forma de saber si esto es cierto, y si es así, cambiar esta asignación?

Ethernet provide maximum of 100M bits per seconds.

I have just now copied from a NAT via ethernet and i get speed of 6,5 M bytes per seconds,
then copied from ms450, and get 6,7Mbytes per seconds.

Please note bits are not the same as bytes

Do you get the same speeds when streaming media across your network?

I'm trying to play short movies taken on my camera and stored on a NAS drive. Typical file size is about 185 MByte per minute, which I work out to be just over 3 MByte per second, or about 25 Mbit per second. I have a utility on my PC which measures network data transfer speeds. When copying this file from the PC it shows over 30 Mbit per second, and about the same when copying in the other direction. But when trying to stream it to the LG machine the speed only reaches about 20 MBit per second, causing the movie to stutter.

You are getting quicker speeds than I am, but still only up to about 54 MBit per second. Is it significant that that speed is the limit of wireless g? What would be preventing the full 100 MBit per second speed?

I guess you are using wifi, do you have a chance to give a try to use an ethernet link?

No, connection is wired, so the full 100 MBit should be available!

Yo veo películas en streaming, pero a través de la utilidad DLNA con un media server (TVersity) instalado en mi PC: la transmisión en muy buena a través de ethernet, no hay saltos.
Sin embargo si no utilizo un media server, hay saltos en la transmisión. Probablemente sea debido a que un media server utiliza el ancho de banda necesario y probablemente con buffer.
