[UPD] Transmission v2.50

For those who use the Transmission for data snatching from Internet I have prepared an updated package for our outdated Transmission package.
I have tested it and it works good for about a 14 days. I installed it manually, but for you who are not familiar with Linux I have prepared an installation script.

You can see the changelog of application here: Transmission Changes v2.50

To install:
- ensure you have at least a LGM version v107 - see at homepage of LG Menu at upper right corner, installation script will check it and if you don't have this version, update is canceled
- copy supplied package Custom-KV-v0-Transmission-v2.50.zip to USB disk (ensure there is no other file named "Custom-*")
- plug USB disk to LG device
- perform restart
After the device is booting, the package is installed automatically.

To check:
- open the LG Menu web interface and go to Torrent menu, there is a new web design and you can see a version number in window opened from menu in left bottom corner, entry About

Note:
This is only update, it updates the binaries and static web page content, so there are no script updates or configuration. Please after update check the configuration of Transmission in main application to reflect your need.

btw: it seems it's heavily used service there is only one who found the installation script not works

It is done, I installed it manually and all OK. the funny thing is that I have to enter for port 9091 to access web new update( 2.50) . But the old (2.21) is on LG Menu.

Hmmmm, that's impossible... there is only one transmission installed who rule them all... and the installation replace the right scripts/web pages.

I don´t Know Why, but...
I have 2 transmission, V. 2.21 and 2.5...Incredible.....

Al acabar, he borrado el archivo "transmission-2.50-hp.tar.gz" de "/tmp/hdd/root/tmp". Imagino que no será necesario dejarlo allí.

Manual Installation:
--------------------
- log into LG as root as usual
- copy file transmission-2.50-hp.tar.gz to your LG into /tmp/hdd/root/tmp
(if this directory not exists, create it by 'mkdir /tmp/hdd/root/tmp')
- perform forllowing commands
cd /tmp/hdd/root/custom
./etc/init.d/transmissiondaemon stop
zcat ../tmp/transmission-2.50-hp.tar.gz | tar xf -
./etc/init.d/transmissiondaemon start

Desde la página http:/ /www. transmissionbt. com/resources/ podéis llegar a http:// code.google. com/p/transmisson-remote-gui/ para descargar el programa Transmission-remote-gui (linux, mac, win) y así controlar cómodamente transmission en cualquier máquina remota, incluido el repro del salón. Se usa como un programa cualquiera; más cómodo que la webUI.
