"Whish List" for Web Interface

Hi All,

I open a new topic to ask you what you want as new feature for Web Interface ?

Wish List :

Remount all external drive in R/W : OK
Download & Upload of channel file
Add Custom Share to Samba : OK

* start/stop dlna server.
* web interface to configure dynamic dns, like no-ip , or dyndns, etc
* apache+php
* install the recording list web (whenever i finish it
* configure the folders to share in samba.
* a test tool to send ping commands.
* switch off LG.

I think we can do a brainstorming among all users, and then order the different ideas in priorities

Well... I wish...

1.- Select (and deselect) and configure boot services (AUTORUN).
For example, after switch ON LG... automatically starting NAS (with its setting) but not FTP, etc, etc...

2.- Integrate the current (or one better!!!) BitTorrent daemon and interface (on/off, add/pause downloads and remove jobs).

I know, I know but... I wish, I wish...

I love the AUTORUN manager .

Yes, but For Autorun, we need Autostart and then, install and start console from HDD.

So, there will be a feature, install console (and not copy) to HDD

And after, we are be able to run script in rcS to start console (autostart) and run the selected services and features (autorun)

and 3.- Integrating Victor's PHP recording list web in the Seb@stien's LG MS400 adnministrator... as Victor said...

Install the Recording List Web + Apache+ PHP... puff... hard work of course...

I have found an application mpegtool that works from the command line (linux 386, we will have to look for ports into mipsel)
that can cut pieces of a mpeg file.

The wep application could list the ist of mpeg files in REC folder,
user select the file,
then enter the min start and min end, and the the application could cut the piece,
usually for eliminating advertisements

It could be a good idea, but this tool must be ported to MIPS before !

After, it's easy to include it to Web Interface

But it requires perhap's some library, see to link to static library ?

Yes, possibility only if we modify the rcS script to launch DvdPlayer, with a custom firmware ?

But, if we create a custom firmware, we will add the web interface directly ?
