One cause of BootLoop: Overheating

Mensaje  murigny64 el Lun Ago 05, 2013 11:39 am

Hello.

I have a MS400H and since one month, i have regular bootloop every 3 days. Twisted Evil

I'm searching about this problem and i found this:

The mother board is fixed with only 4 screws to the frame.
The CPU is located on the lower face and on center of this motherboard.
Cooling is provided by a silicon pad located between the CPU and frame.
But this pad is too thin so, with time and temp variation, the frame moves a little and the pad don't touch the CPU.
So, CPU is overheated and there is certainly some bugs on read/write and make corrupted nand.

I change the pad with a new one thicker. And now, the problem is solved ! pirat

Sorry for my bad english Laughing
