Backup DB programaciones / recordings. Se ha borrado lista grabaciones?

paso a un nuevo thread esta idea que nos propone Matt:

I think I nevar had that problem.
So, you detected , sometimes, that your rcording lists was emptied, right?

Yes, the procedure you mention could be a good idea,
we will have look for a hook before LG goes off.
Probably could be a good idea to do the process at the begining when lg is switched on.

Shall we do a vote to have an idea how many people suffer this issue. ..?

Indeed, sometimes my scheduled record list goes empty (already 5 times - got it in December) and I don't really know why nor managed to notice a usage pattern that could be the issue.
I was suspecting that button home after timer rec (rather than hitting button "back") could increase the rate of the issue and I therefore only used button back but I again had the issue recently ...

If I am the only one concerned by this issue, I'll keep managing it on my own (i.e when I see that I missed a record, I check the list and if it is empty I take my backup db from my pc and overwrite the one on the LG thanks to the web console and the samba service - or I will try some shell programmation one day ^^ ), and therefore don't bother with it.
On the other hand, if others are concerned as well, a generic solution would probably interest them as well.

In that way, a poll would indeed be interesting:
Do you sometime suffer from whole recording list (timer rec) automatically going empty (and therefore missing scheduled records)?
- Yes
- No

May I let someone set it in spanish? (I understood that "grabacion" would be needed somewhere, but I am afraid I could not go further ).

He votado que SI, aunque la respuesta correcta sería SUPONGO QUE SI. Me explico: Lo que realmente me ha pasado un par de veces es hacer una programación (La F1 de la Sexta) y al ir a verla por la tarde, OJÚ, ¡¡pero si no está grabada!!

¿Es porque se vació la lista de grabaciones?, pues no lo sé, si es así, ¿habeis descubierto por qué se produce?

Bueno, pues finalmente he programado una pequeña aplicación que realiza comprobaciones por tamaño
de la BD de grabaciones, y va haciendo backup en cada inicio del LG.
Mat me ha ayudado, y el ha preparado un tutorial, espero sea de interes. saludos. gracias Mat.
